A cautionary tale for humans

When you have a load of snow and then it all melts quite suddenly, your human might be tempted to venture out on her bicycle and leave you home alone.

In so many ways, this is never ever a good idea.

Much more sensible to leave the bike in the shed and exercise your dog!

  1. You are so right Bertie!
Fortunately my human doesn't have a bicycle so it's not a problem. Well, she does actually have an exercise bicycle, but it never goes anywhere!

  2. You couldn't be more right, Bertie! A row boat would have been the better choice than the bike☺

  3. we agree, more fun to excercise the dog. yes, the sun is always right on top of us here, year round, we are sub tropics and only 50 miles from being tropical...that is in aswer to your comment today. i just posed this update on beaus blog.

UPDATE at 7 am, I need POTP, something is wrong, and I am whimpering and yelping when I lean forward. Mama thinks it is my right paw or shoulder, but I can't talk to tell her.
I woke up 3 times during the night whimpering and now I yelped really loud. Mama had to hold my bowl of food up high because I yelp when I lean forward.

  6. We guess all that snow was a lucky thing for you, Bertie. It's good that Gail came to her senses and took you for a walk instead of trying to pedal through that huge puddle.

  9. We totally agree, Bertie. Walks accompanied by one's dog is much more interesting than a bike ride alone. We are hoping for a big melt this week so we can finally get back out for walks too.

  10. I don't believe in biking in the cold weather. It is like biking in and bowl of ice.

  11. Yikes! That road was certainly flooded. Good thing Gail came to her senses and decided on a walk instead. But I bet your tummy was pretty muddy at the end of that walk!
