In anticipation of my October trip to Germany I have been proudly wearing my EU flag neckerchief these last few weeks.
What a good job it was handy, so Gail could wipe the tears from my eyes (and then her own) when we heard the news from Westminster today...

We wonder how long before that horrid man Trump will offer to buy the UK, and make it just another US state ! Then he'll turn all the lovely countryside into those dreadful golf courses - just like he did in Scotland.

Don't worry dear Cecilia, I am still going to Germany, and my pet passport is at least valid until October 31. We're just upset 'cos this whole Brexit business is such a mess...

Our Mom has been reading all about this dustup too and is always shaking her head when she reads the news,it's especially bad here in the states...it's madness. On a side note, our mom is going to Germany too in October but we have to stay behind...maybe she will run into you!
