A quiet week in Aberdeen.

So I understand there were some ructions in Washington D.C. last week.

Meanwhile it's been a quiet few days here in Aberdeen.

We had an inch or two of snow ...

... which was fun for a while.

But then it melted. So we went to the beach.

Oh and I slept quite a lot too.

Sometimes quiet is good.

How was your week?

  2. It's been a bit too quiet here, Bertie. I've done a lot of sleeping too because it's been raining non-stop for four days and we haven't been out at all. This morning it's not raining (yet), but damp and cold so we took the opportunity to take a quick walk in the fresh air. I'd almost forgotten what it was like outdoors! Back home now and time to snuggle down again in the warm.

    Love,
    Inca xx

  3. Mom has never watched CNN news channel more than she has in the past week. Bummer that you lost your snow, Bertie.

Bertie lad, for the past two days I've taken to staying under my doona to stay warm. Got Voovoo setup on a cradle and the flask and edibles to the side and it can be as dark and dingy as it likes outside, I'm just fine!!! I do love your neck light making you easy to see 😃 hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx

  6. Ruction is a great word for what is going on here in USA... we all need to sleep like you and search out those peaceful places to walk about...you look adorable napping, has anyone told you that before???

  7. We love your lovely photos and descriptions of your walks,it gives us a little of a peaceful respite from all the bad news from over here. It's terrible. Good thing that mom can give me a few pets to calm herself down!

  9. You've had more snow in January than we have, Bertie. We are way below average for snow totals this season and are jealous whenever we see our friends enjoying snow.

  10. Sadly last week's ructions may have only been the beginning:(

Wish we had a beach we could run on.

  11. Do you have a shed. We might have to move there for awhile. Mom will cook and clean for you.

  12. The ructions were horrifying, and we hear there may be more :(

Your snow is lovely! And you have a beach nearby too! Do you ever go to the beach in the snow? That seems like fun.

  13. Well...let's see other than Roxy rolling in a dead fish. Dui getting very muddy and having to have a bath in the public dog wash, it's been fairly quiet. Temperatures are heating up again, so lots of hibernation afternoons. Love your snow.

  15. Lady is hoping for some quiet, not setting history days. She has been deemed essential in this new wave of lockdowns, so work won't be quiet.
