What a difference a month makes...

Back in mid July, we thought that Duthie Park was turning into the Sahara Desert...

You will be relieved to hear that situation normal has now resumed in Aberdeen and our grass is looking a healthy summer green again.

Gail and I extend our sympathies to pups and their owners who have been suffering in the heat and drought in other parts of the world. In truth, it never ever gets too hot round here.

PS We are looking forward to meeting some very special blogging friends on Sunday. Watch this space!

  3. Our grass was looking pretty parched awhile back too but with all of the rain that we have been having, it's back to being green and mom is whining that all she does is cut the grass! Have fun with your visiting friends, Bertie!

  5. Oh, that looks much better! We're getting a lot of rain this week and next, so hopefully it'll be nice and green by us.

  6. Whew, things do seem to be greening up! We have a similar climate and it never gets too hot here either!

We have just entered "Fog"ust, where is stays foggy most of the day...where we are stuck between the hot aor to the east of us and the cool ocean air.

  7. That's a huge difference! We'd love some rain, the state is now officially 100% in drought....

  8. Dear Bertie,

Our grass is still golden. I do not mind, because I do not like peeing on wet grass. So dry, brown grass is better, thankyouverymuch.

That is happy fresh grass for you, though! And it looks like it is not raining today. Enjoy!
