Here's a picture from a recent walk up Millstone Hill. It's one of Gail's favourite views and is presented here today especially for those of you who live in parts of the world where the summers are all brown and dusty.

No chance of a brown and dusty landscape in our fair country eh Bertie? But when the sun does eventually come out and you get a view like that.... gorgeous! The model isn't bad either.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous view.....now wonder Gail loves it. You'll have to repost in February when we're all brown and dusty!

ReplyDeleteOMD Bertie - I am with Gail on the beauty of the spot... but be aware that even for those of us resident in the Bonny Land, that to see a pickchoor like this, which has evidence of SUNSHINE, is an equal joy!

that is truly a beautiful view and there is nothing more soul relaxing than seeing all shades of green spread out before you
ReplyDeleteIt's an absolutely beautiful view - so many lovely shades of green! It's green here in our area, but VERY FLAT. No hills, mountains, or valleys in our state (Illinois)
ReplyDeletethe grass is always greener on the other side of the fence... or in our case: on the other side of the channel :o) I wish we would have some mountains here too, that would be pawsome...
