Careful Bertie...horsie's ears are flat and turned back. Thank goodness for that fence. (Eish, was that a Scottish bark? It certainly was sprightly) Sending lotsalicks Your buddy TOBY IN SOUTH AFRICA (BTW Was your meeting with the Border Collies contagious perhaps? BOL!)
Mom wouldn't let us listem to your barking, Bertie, because we would join in and it's still early here -- but we will soon and hope to detect that wee bit of Scotland!!!
Hey Bertie! Wow, you sure gave them a great big piece of your mind! I bet they just didn't understand the dog lingo or else they would have been properly terrified. They just need a translation! BOL. Great job! Grr and Woof, Sarge, COP
Nice looking horses, would you say,Bertie? Its best just to go up and take a squint at them, no barking and just mosey along. You will NEVER scare them but you just might annoy them!
Well Bertie, you sure told them a thing or two. Pity they didn't seem to be listening. The cows next door to us are the same. Never listen to a word we say. Hope you got to roll in some of their poop. Mmmmm that's my all time favorite. No worries, and love, Stella (poop roller) and Rory
We've never gotten a chance to bark at anything that big. You're a brave lad, Bertie. Are those genuine Shetland ponies, or some other cold-weather breed?

Wow Bertie very brave. You remind us of Tubs, when we lived in Manhattan he loved barking at the police horses. The never reacted properly either
ReplyDeleteUrban Hounds
Pawesome video! I generally bark at big dogs, but not at big mammals that aren't dogs. Inter-species barking is sort of frowned upon in Switzerland :)

Quite a conversation you had. But it sounds like you were doing all the talking...BOL
ReplyDeleteOh Bertie, why must you bother those big beautiful drafts? Well, I guess by their reaction they really weren't bothered by a little barking.
