Lovely photos Bertie. At the moment it's very cold here, so we don't go out until the streets are aired - usually around 10:30 a.m. We often go out on our afternoon walk at around 4 p.m., when it's much warmer.
Love Inca xx This is written by Inca's human today. Inca is at the vet's this morning for an operation to remove a tumour that has appeared on the side of her mouth. Not that it's in any way spoiled her appreciation of food!
Well, Bertie, the vet decided not to operate after all. I'm back home already and have just had my breakfast and we're going to have a nice day with some cuddles! We're waiting for the gas men to come and fill our tank before we go on our walk.
Beau said to tell you he has never had a afternoon or eveing walk with Mama, only day break walks and a few times at 8:30 or 9 am. he has to follow Mamas preference. the reason no pm walks is Florida extreme heat. even in our cold snap like we are now, the sun is low and very hot from noon until dark
Hari Om There is not doubt that both ends of the day hold their charms, Bertie and, like yourself, I hold no particular preference. (Though if Gail shared today's poem from DoWY with you today, you'll appreicate which end of the day offers itself to me can be vary variable!) Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Bertie Bryan and I are in agreement with you we'll walk anytime of day...but I must add temperature might cause us to adjust times a bit. We don't have your terrier coat so we walk when the temp is about 40 or 42 F in the am. The scenery and YOU are gorgeous today Hugs Cecilia
That sunrise sure made for pretty pictures. We don't care when we go out at this time of year but in the summertime the earlier times are usually better.
They are both lovely times for walkies. We would prefer morning and getting the day started nice and early. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful rest of your day. World of Animals Rittenhouse
We think we would be happy to go for a walk any time of the day or night. But Mom likes to walk midday when she has the best chance of some warmth. Early in the morning wreaks havoc with her natural curly locks:)
First there was Hamish the Westie. Then there was Bouncing Bertie. Now we have new WFT puppy Nobby. Will he be Nice Nobby or Naughty Nobby? Watch this space!
we re more the evening dogs... there are more people and pets around ;O)

ReplyDeleteInca dear, we hope your tumour thingy is not too nasty. Please keep us informed. Paws and fingers crossed here.
DeleteWe only go in the morning but twice is great, Bertie!
ReplyDeleteI prefer photos of early morning, rather than early morning, itself. Walks any other time are quite fine.

Ours too! And we get a lunchtime walk too! But we like early mornings best because it is our longest walk in the chilly goodness!
