A compromise post

Sometimes I think I understand my readership better than my human does.

She said I should put a bunch of her photos of mushrooms in various states of decay on today's post, but I just know you'd rather see pictures of me happily trotting through the forest last week while Gail had her camera mostly pointed towards the ground.

Since compromise is at the heart of any good relationship, we agreed to feature both me and the fungi.

But I was right (about which pictures you'd prefer) wasn't I?

PS from Gail: It's been a relatively good week with Bertie.

Happy Nature Friday! And thanks to our lovely LLB Gang friends for once again hosting the blog hop.

  3. Well, if we hadn't read your comments first, Bertie, we'd have skipped the mushroom photos altogether, so that we could concentrate on the fab photos of you!
You are much more handsome, and interesting, than a load of old mushrooms, no matter how interesting Gail may find them!

    Love,
    Inca xx

  7. The light in your third photo, Bertie, is lovely. I am glad you and Gail are having some fine times together, outside. And that's quite a variety of colorful, if poisonous (mostly, I assume) mushrooms.

Oh yes - excellent compromise there Bertie lad... though I pawhaps might have favoured more of a 50/50 split... but I'll take what given, as any sighting of you makes me smile!!! Glad you had a good(ish) week. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  13. Glad to see both Bertie! Some of those mushrooms looked deadly - am I right? The skill is to know which are which. And I don't have that, so all I could offer would be a supermarket bag, and that doesn't count. I'm glad you've had a good week Bertie.

  15. It's been a good summer for mushrooms here too, with all the rain we've had. We liked seeing all the ones you found. But we love seeing Bertie even better!

  16. Hi friend, Ojo here! Of course you were right! We Dogs are always right! Although my person would like to add that we have mushrooms here like that black and spotted one, except ours are red! Whatever colour they come in, she thinks they're super-cool!
