WFT photography 101

It is important not to position your terrier in front of a splodge of similarly coloured lichen. No matter how fine and alert his stance.

That's a bit better.

To be honest, it hasn't so far been a great weekend for photography in Torridon, being mostly overcast and damp. This remnant rainbow picture does at least give you a realistic idea of the prevailing conditions.

Oh yes, and this is the point on our Saturday walk when I decided I'd had enough of tramping around on a slippery mountain path in the sleet.

Thankfully my owner was of the same mind, and so we retreated to the warmth of the cottage where I allowed Gail to practice her Pilates balance work while simultaneously rubbing my belly with her loose foot and listening to the rugby on the radio (and of course taking a photo), thus displaying her hitherto well-concealed multi-tasking capabilities...

PS England 38: Scotland 38. This WFT says WTF !!!

Well, Bertie lad, all I can say is that looks fine to me. The Hutch was practically buried in snow yesterday. The flakes kept falling the whole day and it was white all the way down to the water.

That was yesterday. Today, only the tops are white and the sun is bright. That's March madness fur ya.

Meanwhile, I's sitting fuming at myself for losing faith and switching off the television with the score was 27-0 and not even bothering to watch the score later. Only found out from yourself and Bob'n'Sophie that there was a late surge. Sigh... Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  2. That Gail sure can multitask! We are lucky if Mama can pet us and drink her tea without spilling it!!!

March is a funny month isn't it...we finally have lots and lots of sun today...so we are off for a nice hike!
    Happy St. Patrick's Day!

  3. WEll dang blogger ate my lengthy comment.
Take 2. That sure was good camo on the rock but you know my fascination with your WFT tail. It is looking fine. The LLB gang stole my words about Gail so I'll say she is well balanced.

  4. Quite a change from bouncing through the daffodils. We wouldn't have ventured out on a rainy/sleeting day.

  5. The end of the rainbow looks far to far to look for the pot of gold and neither team had the luck of the Irish.

  6. That first shot was a bit interesting, we thought you had totally melted into the landscape:) But the second one is so handsome - look at that great stance you have!!! HOpe the weather improves.

    Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

  7. We love that little hint of a rainbow. Even though the conditions weren't perfect it looks like you had a fun walk.

  9. It was certainly an entertaining second half at the rugby! I am very impressed at Gail's multi tasking but really....should she be concentrating FULLY on rubbing your belly?????
