Did you guys see that a Scottie won the terrier group last night? Gail's favourite bit was when Cĺare Balding (the immensely likeable TV presenter) asked the judge how she could assess the dog's leg movement when the skirt was so long (a quite reasonable question, we think) and the judge came over all huffy and said said something about 30 years experience!)
Hari OM OMD Bertie lad, you'll feel the strong draught that is blowing about the Isles today!!! Again I wonder if there is not a spinnings-worth of furs left on the table... hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx (whose favourite bit of Crufts is the flyball!!!)
Dear Bertie...OMCs...the Crufts fella looks nicely groomed; however, that style would not fit you FIT life style of hiking and bouncing and Boffin. Just a nice striping is all you need. Hugs Cecilia
I agree....SCRUFFY!!!! Nows, can you tell Ma that befores she gets it in her head to gives me the water torture and breaks out the clippers???? sigh. Kisses, Ruby ♥
Hi Bertie! Thanks for visiting my blog! And what you have been through looks just crazy!! My human is trying to comb my fluffs out, what is it with them?
First there was Hamish the Westie. Then there was Bouncing Bertie. Now we have new WFT puppy Nobby. Will he be Nice Nobby or Naughty Nobby? Watch this space!
We don't want you looking like Crufts! We like your teddy bear look. So much more attractive, and easier to maintain.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've had enough fur removed. It isn't Spring yet!

DeleteOne more vote for Scruffy terriers here. You are handsome, and while I like my men a bit sculpted, I like my terriers scruffy
ReplyDeleteTo paraphrase Dolly Parton: "You'd be surprised much much time it takes to look this scruffy"!
DeleteWe like the Scruffy look best too. Also think it is far more practical in late winter/early spring.
ReplyDeleteYou are perfect just the way you are, Bertie!

We don't think that fancy coat would do so well against the elements when you are out on your walks Bertie. You look great just as you are.

Dear Bertie,
ReplyDeleteWe are not much fans of that look... We think you look much better the way you are! You are very handsome with your fur!

We don't know what your natural look should be technically called but we think it is beautiful. We like that fluffy look:)
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
We prefer your more natural look Bertie!

Oh my goodness, we think Gail has her fair share of furs!

I much prefer you fluffy and don't like the close clipped look of the crufts dog.
ReplyDeleteBertie - A brave choice to have a haircut in early March in Aberdeen.
