...And then my heart with pleasure fills,

And bounces with the daffodils.

William Wordsworth (nearly).

Oh the joys of spring!

It is spring isn't it? Gail took her car to the garage yesterday to have the winter tyres removed and the regular ones put back on. The old mechanic looked surprised at the request and, clearly deeming it premature, asked "Ye're nae fae Scotland? D'ye ken fit month it is? "

Do wish us luck for the drive across the Highlands to our Torridon cottage this weekend...

Hoping you too are celebrating Nature Friday with Arty, Rosy and Jakey.

PS Our thoughts this morning are with all the families affected by the terrible terrorist attacks in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Bertie bouncing through the 'dills... definitely springing happening! Still waiting this side. The wind just hasn't stopped and mostly, neither has the rain. Nothing new there.

The NZ biz is horrifying... Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

Good luck on your drive. Don't know that March is out of the lion stage yet.

Oh, and we do remember your advice for Dui, though he hasn't had haggis.

  8. Wow, a whole field of daffodils - so pretty. Safe travels. And yes, so very sad for all those impacted by the horrible tragedy in New Zealand.

  12. Our hearts are filled with your spring pictures too. Yesterday was the last day Lady had to legally have snow tires but it will be a month before she is brave enough to take them off!

Without fail it snowed the week after we had them removed! Best of wishes.
