Life's ups and downs

So on Sunday I was dragged away from this…

And returned home to Aberdeen to face this...

And if having the decorator in all week wasn't bad enough, I have just learnt that yet again I am shortly to be abandoned for a week in favour of this...

And consigned to a so-called 'Pet Haven' where the daily regime looks like this…

Hmmm.
As the song goes, "Things Can Only Get Better".

  2. "Dinner is served". Sounds a bit like it could be quite upmarket Bertie. I am sure that the servants will be totally adoring of you. How could they be anything else. What a shame that it appears that there is no computer access for you to blog during your stay in between the walks and exercise sessions. Will await the update on your return home.

  7. Bertie Bertie Bertie. Jumpin' catfish the things we pets endure. Good buddy I for sure send you a ton of sympathy and BRAVOs for surviving the painting....been there and done that. If I had known, I could have sent you some fence jumping instructions. That is a beginners fence for Felines.

That sure is a very lovely entrance way you have and some fine looking stairs.

Ummm I'm thinking Gail is giving the the week at the doggie spa as a thank you for being so good during the painting. That spa sounds absolutely fine...wonder if they serve breakfast in bed? Tell Gail to have a very nice bike excursion.
Hugs and may you and Gail have a lovely week

  11. Well Bertie, life is full of surprises, not all of them good ! I'm with Gus - Gail should get one of those bike buggies and take you with her.
The pet haven doesn't sound too bad - you get a whole half hour longer in bed than I do !

    Love,

  14. Bertie bite the tires on the bike and make Gail stay home. I'm thinking Fairways might be a fancy penitentiary.

  15. The pet haven does sound rather nice, Bertie. You might want to make the best of it since Gail does seem determined to make these little jaunts without you.

  16. We hate gates too. I can usually find a way round if I try hard BOL Not sure about the Pet Haven - a lot of exercise by the sound of it. Nose licks and love from Moth xx
