ReplyDeleteBertie i used to breed Bassets and Dandie Dinmont Terriers. All fit as a fiddle even into old age. Had Bassets live to 17years old and one old hound used to go hunting with me. They could laze around and still hunt without any difficulty. Not that hunting with Bassets is hunting in the real sense as most people understand it. I find that if do not keep walking the body does seize up. My pet these days is a beautiful rescue cat who is 16 and is as fit as a fiddle and is quite capable of running around when necessary and can still climb a tree. I would say she is much fitter than I. Hope that this anecdotal data is of use to your research paper I am sure you are thinking of publishing.

ReplyDeleteAB so LUTE ly A ok Bertie. Mom has a gazillion pieces of clothes with cat stuff on them. She says if she gonna wear cat fur she might has well a picture of cats too. AND as for the work place...it is mom's experience that a little gaiety is always nice in the work place and often results in conversations about pets which is a stress reliever

Bertie? On a serious note, is it OK for muzzer to wear things that have dogs of your ilk on it when said dog has been dead since December Last? And all she has with My picture on it is a pair of smelly Socks?

Momma has lots of stuff with boxers on it, including two pairs of boxer socks! It's just her way of showing her love for us when we can't be with her.
