So I went to check up on the tulips when I was down in the park last Friday and found they were still standing to attention and in good order.
But today they were all gone.
I wonder what they'll plant here next.
Do you still have tulips out where you live?

ReplyDelete...I would tell you if I could see beyond three yards...
It is even money there will be one or all of the following next time you go to the park; wallflowers; petunias; marigolds. It's a global thing... Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Still got ours Bertie. We wonder what will be there next too? Have a tremendous Thursday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
You look good in purple, Bertie. A very royal color for you. Hopefully the next planting will be purple as well!

Crikey Bertie .... you have a terrible effect on my Mum. She just wants to eat you up. She doesn't even care that the tulips are gone as long as you're there .... Weird!!!!!
ReplyDeleteStanding at attention I love that Bertie and what a gorgeous color. I hope they don't plant pansies 'cause the bushy tailed rodents will eat them...or maybe you don't have BTRs in Scotland.
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bfff
Tulips departed about a week ago here. Iris also. Now seeing pansies and grrrraniums.

Hmm Bertie, where did they go!? They were beautiful. Let us know what takes their place.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the made a video for Joan Baez's video "Where have all the flowers gone" on your place and removed your wonderful tulips?
ReplyDeleteNo tulips here. Why would they pull them all out when they were still standing tall and looking pretty? I don't get it, Bertie.
ReplyDeleteNo tulips here - ours didn't even grow this year.
ReplyDeleteWe will miss the two lips... and can't wait to see what goes in next.
