Sunday crowds

When I first arrived I thought I had Forvie beach all to myself...

But it turned out that wasn't the case at all.

  1. Hey there Bertie,
Who was more scared? You? The Seals? Gail?...or was there no disturbance whatsoever? Somehow I think not.
I know I wouldn't have been able to resist. (I'd even try barking through my loud-hailer - "the cone" - at those things. I've discovered 101 things to do with it.)

  2. Those seals are lovely are they used to doggies on their beach? Sometimes in the US they dont want dogs to walk where there are native species, like in certain state parks. The feeling is that dogs cause trouble for the native species by barking, running off, etc. Mom and Dad think its very sad

  3. I can see that sun baking is a favorite pass time for all sorts of critters. Watch out, Bertie, don't get too close. Those seals are surprisingly nimble.

  11. I am quite sure you and Gail both know enough seal etiquette to keep your distance! How fun to see them, though.

  24. Bet you weren't allowed close enough for a really good sniff. Is this a regular, if seasonal, thing on your beach or was this unusual?
