Adventure Animal credentials take a knock?

Look it's REALLY SCARY when your human takes you on some supposedly gentle walk in the woods and all of a sudden you are faced with a scramble down into a gorge via a slippery and precipitous rock face.

As happened earlier today at Burn O'Vat.

Friends, I am sure you will still vote for me in the Adventure Animals category of the great  Mango Minster competition tomorrow.

Won't you?

Please.

  7. I think I already promised Ludo I would vote for him as most adventurous. Maybe try it again next year, practice up some or go for another category. Cutest maybe.

  8. Bernie,

As you know, we live in flatland USA, so we can't begin to grasp how scary that topography must have been -- but we are with you all the way!WFT to WFT!

And please tell Gail we love her adventurous spirit -- but we is who we is!

    Wirey love,

  9. Yikes! Your walks are certainly thrilling turns of adventure. Makes our strolls in the park seem quite dull in comparison.

  10. Oh that looks so scary. Think I'd rather stay home! :o)

  11. Are you kidding? That was a major adventure ride and you sat calmly on Gail's lap and let her carry you down the rough, hard rocks without flinching. All you need is a pith helmet and a swagger stick.

  14. Now Bertie going down that slippery sloap could be dangerous, but your tanks and guns ablaze and dust and dirt poem makes me think your dangerous. You might blow up the Valentine Dance! I might have to report you to Sarge and Mayor Frankie. Just saying!!

  17. Bertie, I am visiting from Jazzis blog and am quite concerned about your poem. Are you bringing guns to the dance? Is Tank green now?? What is going on? I hope to meet you there with my date Remington but just to be safe we will wave from across the room. I am off to the Minster now to investigate your entry.

  19. hey Bertie,

Scary indeed! Slippery rock going down is no place for a pooch! Especially one with a tendency to topple. BOL!

I am glad you and Gail are safely down the rock and home. :->

I voted for you! Good luck, Bertie! Paws crossed you win!

    Suka

p.s. I thought your "Topple" post was pawsome!

  20. Dear Bertie,

It's OK to be scared when things are objectively dangerous!

BTW, I absolutely adore your Mango entry!

    Keep on wagging,
