Quick update - train, grandparents, science experiments

Wow I had such an incredibly great time on the train on Thursday! I haven't time to tell you all about it just now as I'm busy entertaining human Granny and Granddad. But I thought I'd just show you a couple of photos.

The ticket collector was especially friendly, although Gail says that perhaps the woman in the pink shirt is a teeny bit jealous of all the attention I'm getting...

Oh and about my Blogville Picnic in the Bark water-related science experiments (see previous post). Just to make it clear that I'll be reporting on the results after I get back home to Aberdeen - Tuesday at the earliest. Meanwhile, please do keep all your excellent comments and suggestions coming in!

  1. My son will be in Scotland at the end of this month--Edinburgh, though, not Aberdeen. He's timing his trip around upcoming rail strikes!

  3. We still can't believe you got to go on a train. If we ever did that the rail line would close down.. Listen can you do me a favor? Try not to mention Count Dracula again When Archie saw the Castle and heard about Bram Stoker he fainted... dead out.. from nerves.. and as he was going down he said BUT BERTIE LIVES NEAR DRACULA... I'll work on this but just saying... Love Ags

  5. Yeah, she's definitely jealous. Probably wants the Ticket Collector to scratch her under the chin.

  9. hey Bertie,

Lucky pup! The train ride looks like so much fun! I don't think I would be allowed on a train here in the U.S. Bummers! The Conductor seems very nice. Under the neck scratches rock! :-> I think the woman in pink wishes she could be cuddling you, too. You are very lovable!

Can't wait to read your results! In the meantime, have a wonderful visit with your Grandma and Grandpa!

  15. Bertie; Dat lady in pink looks like she swallowed a pickle. Maybe if the conductor guy rubbed her tummy she would have cheered up. BOL! Give your Grands a lick from us.
