My park has been invaded by Eskimos!

The evidence...

I have noticed that all this snow makes humans very snap-happy, which explains yet more mostly white photos below. (If bored of pictures of snowy me, then I suggest you move on to visit some southern hemisphere dogs, say Toby in South Africa, or Downunder Daisy).

Oh and finally, please could someone send Gail tips on how to look more stylish in cold weather? Please? I mean there's me, always so handsome, it's embarrassing to be seen out with her sometimes.....

  1. Bertie - As an Aberdonian you'll understand this. That must be a Doric igloo.

  5. Bertie, you look like you're sledding, without a sled in that picture. Snow pictures, water pictures. They just keep taking them.

We're trying not to watch the Cricket....full marks to England, though.

  6. Bertie, Manners-wise you are a total loss! Gail homes you, feeds you, buys you all sorts of toys to play with and how do you repay her?
With insults! Go to your room, Bertie! Sit in the corner for an hour or two!

  7. You won't be getting any cold weather fashion tips from these parts. My momma looks a horror when she is dressed for the cold. In fact sometimes if she is far away I don't even recognize her and bark at her like she is a monster.

I am so relieved that your Gail is finally getting some WFT stuff around the house. Don't worry, I suspect more to come.

  8. We love your igloo. And, of course all humans look dorky in the winter. Only we fur covered creatures know how to style in the cold.

  10. Oh Bertie dear, Miss Gail looks perfect...for a tall, slim Eskimo!! We've found that warmth and comfort trump fashion with hoomans. Our mom is a fine example of that. At least Gail looks like an Eddie Bauer model with her slim build. Mom looks like the Michelin man!! BOL. BTW, that igloo is terrific.

  12. We're lovin' the snowy white whiskers. They sort of tell the whole story.

Enjoy it for us. We've not had any snow yet ... and soon we'll be leaving (for the first winter) for much warmer weather. It may be a while before we get to romp in the white stuff. Please keep the pictures coming!

  13. Hi Bertie, we are wondering where the Eskimos were - do you think they had gone out to tea?
We hope they didn't mind you having a nosy round their home - most impressive it was too.....!
We half expected to see Billy Connolly - do you remember he lived in one for a time ...!
    We digress, as usual.....!
We love your pics in the snow although we are beginning to look at ours too thinking they are all white all the time.
As for Gail looking more stylish - well that is your job Bertie dear.
You trot along beside her and your very presence lifts her whole look - adding a certain air of sophistication which, lets face it, she could never achieve alone.......!
    Much love
    Your adoring Aunties xxxxx
(think we might be getting cheekier.....)

  14. oh Bertie, does you think you could go live in there? It seems just your size! My snow has all melted away now.

I think Gail needs some gloves on them hands of hers! Peoples need extra layers in this weather. Plus gloves is fun to steal off of hands.

  17. Oh Bertie, I totally agree with Stella, your manners as of late are atrocious!

Not only that but Christmas is comming real soon and you better be a good boy or Santa Paws will leave you pickles in your stocking!

  18. OK, we'll bite: what's a Doric igloo? Less fancy than a Corinthian igloo? We got the Arctic air this week, but so far no snow. We're happy to enjoy your snow vicariously. Much less messy.

  20. Hi Bertie - I saw you over on Mango's blog and though I'd pop over to say hi! My humans used to live in the UK before they emigrated DOwn Under and so they love visiting doggies living there and get nostalgic at the photos! (of course, my huma says it's great when you can just look at the pretty snow and not have to actually live through a long, dark, cold winter!)

Anyway, cool igloo - wonder how long it took some silly humans to build that?

I hope you'll come over to my blog and say hello to me too!
