In a panic over Christmas? Bertie advises...

What to do..

Grab a beer.

Help with the decorations.

Remove any irritating and questionably 'seasonal' neckwear.

Go for a walk somewhere nice*.

Then chill...

  1. We are most impressed at your balancing skills, lying front to back in a chair and not falling out. Your approach to Chistmas pretty much matches ours. Not mama's, but ours. It's been freezing here, but we've been spared the snow. Looks like yours is there to stay unil Spring.

  4. Bertie - The model of efficiency. Next thing you'll be telling me is that you're off to Pittodrie this afternoon to welcome Craig Brown.

  5. You've nailed it, Bertie. But perhaps we need a counter opinion from Gail?

  10. Hi Bertie
How very wise you are! And this is your very first Xmas!!!
Well we are happy to follow your advice - well apart from the beer - perhaps a tiny little sherry for us Aunties.
We always love to go walking somewhere nice too and help in whatever way we can.
We absolutley refuse to wear anything festive!
The only thing is Bertie, it is the humans - do you have any idea what the phrase 'headless chicken' means?
We keep hearing it - we try to carry on as calmly as possible.
    Much love

ps sorry we are late but blame the chicken!

  12. Excellent advice, Bertie...but I thought a Scotsman such as yourself would be advocating grabbing a single Scottish malt instead??!! :-)
