Bertie demonstrates the WFT beard swirl

Gail tells me that we are about to set off for England for a few days, to see friends and relatives for the first time in over 16 months. Apparently there is a heat wave Down South and I am supposed to be grateful she just spent an arm and a leg getting the A/C in her car finally fixed, especially for me.

I think I'm worth it, don't you?

Blog service may be interrupted over the next week,

  2. Of course you're worth it Bertie!
Yesterday we had two men in our kitchen replacing the old air-con unit, so that should my human ever have to leave me in there, I can be either nice and cool or warm and comfy!
Have a lovely time in the heatwave down south, but it's not much fun in a fur coat!

    Love,

to be fair, the heat wave kinda hit the Hutch this week too - unprecedented!!! It may be on the turn today as can't see the hills for haar - though it's definitely not cold and is surprisingly still... I wish you and Gail happy travels, I must say her shot of your beard swirl is top notch! Hope she'll be able to at least watch some of the cycling events from the Os whilst away. Be safe! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  6. What a great photo (Gail) and good technique, Bertie! After 494 days of isolation (except for essential activities), we will be having dinner with vaccinated family on Friday. My rough calculation is that's essentially the same number of days since you have seen family. Safe travels!

  7. Looking very dapper with his cravat there. Oscar had a pleasant run yesterday evening with his new pal Eric the Fox Terrier - two fine dogs. But I'm concerned that the foxy one is teaching him new tricks for last night Oscar somehow managed to escape from his cage only to creep upstairs and jump on my bed at 3.00am!!!

  14. That is a super cool action shot of you Bertie! And if it is as hot as it was a bit ago in England, you are going to need to have a dip or two in some cool water! Enjoy your trip!

  16. Hi friend, Ojo here! Of course you are worth it! If there was no AC in your car you'd need to get all wet, just like you are now, and then shake it off in the car, just like you're doing. That would keep you cool! If your person isn't keen on that then, well, good thing she fixed the AC!
