So here's me, earlier in the day, all bright and raring to go for another Torridon walk with Richard and Tess.
It's the time of year when the grass on the hills turns a golden rusty colour. It glows in the sunshine...
Although sunshine was in relatively short supply today...
Happy Nature Friday friends. Do go and visit all the other posts in Rosy and the Gang's always enjoyable (whatever the weather) blog hop.
we love the golden land, maybe you found that El Dorado what Mr. Indiana Jones never found?
ReplyDeleteAnother rainbow - what good luck, Bertie! It looks like a beautiful walk, even if you didn't get much sunshine, and the clouds looked so threatening.
ReplyDeleteYou look nice and comfy, curled up by the fire - the best place to be, in my opinion, when there's even a hint of rain!
Love,
Inca xx
I think I'll skip the hailstorms - I've heard em and I prefer being inside during em.
ReplyDeleteYou have the most gorgeous walks, Bertie - and that rainbow - just beautiful! Enjoy that nice warm fire.
ReplyDeleteYou look very cute curled up like that 😍
ReplyDeleteWe have walked in hail storms and it is painful. Rain is alright sometimes, but hail is no fun. It is very fall looking where you all are.
ReplyDeleteBertie Scotland's weather is 87 kinds of crazy.
ReplyDeleteBUT that rainbow stunning.
Your photos all curled up look like the most delicious cinnamon bun with maybe a bit of cream cheese on top
Hugs Cecilia
What a great walk you all took. Thanks for showing us the sights especially that beautiful rainbow. You sure look content all curled up in a ball, Bertie.

ReplyDeleteThe walks in such climes make the lying by super warm log stoves all the more appreciated, don't you think Bertie lad! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
We like outdoors, and we like indoors too! There's time to enjoy both.
ReplyDeleteAlthough most of the time we do love a good nature adventure, we are with you Bertie...In some weather it is nice to curl up and have a nice snooze instead of being out in it!
ReplyDeleteStill beautiful even in the cold and wet. Love the rainbow. But curling up after an adventure is bliss.
ReplyDeleteWe don't mind walking in the rain (snow is better) but we don't think it can be much fun getting pelted with hail.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful rainbow!!!
Have a relaxing weekend.
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
That looks like a lovely way to spend the day.
ReplyDeleteYour land is so lovely. I love the autumn rusty color and the sight of rain. I cannot remember when I last saw rain (July, maybe?).
ReplyDeleteYou look utterly content after your walking, Bertie. Wonderful.
It looks so much like our world. But after nearly 2 weeks we have some sun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and dramatic walk...with a rainbow at the end!
