    What a great place to spend an afternoon with Gail! It looks got to meet and great old and new friends, but my most important question to you, young Bertie, is did you get to try any of The Long Dog Cafe's food???

      So I was eyeing up Gail's yummy raspberry Bakewell slice, and she said "look, here you are Bertie" and pulled a dry old biscuit out of her pocket, trying to pretend it was the cake. Like I'd fall for that one...

    OMCs Bertie it looks like it was so busy you had to take a number to be served. You look very comfy there in Gail's lap. I think you had the best seat.
    Mom got a chuckle out of the 'long dog' there waiting to be served. He looks exactly like the dachshund who ruled the house B.M. (before madi). Per chance is he the owner?

      No in fact this particular Long Dog belongs to Lorna, the lady in the orange top. She used to be a colleague of Gail's many moons ago, and we ran into her totally by chance.
