My house backs up to a long regional bike path/park. The paved path is for the bikes and the gravel path is for the horses which pretty much don't exist in my area any longer. As a result, we see bikes on every walk. Fortunately, my herding dogs ignore them for the most part. The only time they seem to notice is when its a recumbent style bike and for whatever reason, that type is worth casing!
Bertie... That is Brilliant... your mum used the Bicycle carrier thingy to CARRY YOUR TREATS. THAT is pretty good. We just hope that she doesn't get the idea to Ride the bike and have you RUN along beside it.
I used to be afraid, very afraid of bicycles, but now that I am more mature (hmmm, says mom), I mostly ignore them. Now, however I see they can have very interesting advantages. Sadly, my dad;s bike doesn't have a basket. (Nor does it have a functioning tire at the moment.)
First there was Hamish the Westie. Then there was Bouncing Bertie. Now we have new WFT puppy Nobby. Will he be Nice Nobby or Naughty Nobby? Watch this space!
Hmmm, dat do make dem seem slightly more appealin.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely does. We love that Treat carrier thingy...

ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Friday.
Best wishes Molly

ReplyDeleteOops, I meant "worth chasing" :-)
ReplyDeleteBertie - If you could sit in the bicycle basket you could direct and munch on treats at the same time !
ReplyDeleteWe are not fond of bicycles because whether they are brought out singly or in pairs, it means we are not going along. Bah humbug.
ReplyDeletegus n teka
We're scared that we're gonna get run over by bicycle's so we stay far, far away from them. Butt we like the idea of the basket carrying treats!

Well as a vehicle for the transporting of treats to home - yes - it does have some advantages. Mom and dad use theirs as wall art :)
