In winter it is important to supplement one's formal sessions in the barn with freestyle agility training in a variety of outdoor settings.
One can practice one's weaves in the local park:
Retaining one's balance while cornering at speed is tricky on snowy hill tracks:
Better not miss my contact on this particular dog walk:
Some descents are steeper than any 'A' frame:
Now why am I being asked to pose just here…?
That is so NOT FUNNY Gail.
Oh yes, I have been practicing my contact obstacle skills in the snow banks.
ReplyDeleteI see nothing humorous in the last photo.
Kisses,
Dexter
OMD Bertie that is a veritable assault course. We have sunny days to come and we hope you do too.
ReplyDeleteHave a serene Sunday and get in some big easy today.
Best wishes Molly
Great obstacle course you have there Bertie old boy! Lots of new interpretations for practiced moves, which steps up the training a bit. We do not find the final photo amusing.
ReplyDeleteGus and Teka
We agree with Molly - are in in training with the Highland Guards? That is an assault course not an agility course :) We are sure that last photo was referring to the operator of the camera rather than yourself Bertie
ReplyDeleteGreat training! We can't wait for the snow to go so we can do the same kind of thing!

DeleteBertie - Thank heavens for four paw drive.
ReplyDeleteI just posted this on Aunite Yam's blog, but she said I should really ask you here as we need your advice please Bertie.
ReplyDeleteGreat advice Bertie. We are planning a trip to see Auntie Yam in April/May. Neither of us are looking forward to the ferry trip, mum says 20mins is plenty of time to be sick at least twice, I am putting a brave face on it. Any advice Bertie?
Cute post! All those challenges on your hike are truly wonderful training!
ReplyDeleteWow that's some hike and certainly you sailed through those obstacles
ReplyDeleteretro rover
It's like your very own agility course
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
Wow, you's got your own natural agility course right dere!
ReplyDeletePeeps sure have a strange sense of humor sometimes, don't they?!
ReplyDeleteFault whose fault was it?? And what was the fault??
ReplyDeleteWhy you don't have to go to a park to practice agility training, we get agility training just dashing across the street in traffic. Love your mountains and scenery Bertie.
Thanks for being a friend
