360 degree appraisal

Crowded train on Sunday evening

By the River Trent

Change at York Station

Street scene in Edinburgh

My performance on my recent and unexpectedly extended trip down south has been appraised from all angles, and found to be 100% satisfactory (see below):

  8. Oh Bertie we knew you could do it!!!! Mom has decided then in about 20 years when she is retired and home full time she is getting a wire fox terrier. That way she can devote all day to exercising and exhausting him and perhaps he will be as good as you. You do indeed deserve a GIANT treat

  13. Good job Bertie, you are sooooo lucky to go on the train....some congressmen here in US just introduced legislation to allow companion dogs on our Amtrack system.....I think they mean in a carrier or crate...no leashes. But at least we could go along!

  14. A wonderful chap indeed and we so enjoy reading about all of his adventures. But let's not forget how patient and diligent his human has been in helping wee Bertie get to this amazing stage of his life. Hurray for Gail!

  15. Bertie,
Oh you must be so proud of yourself (I certainly am), what a lovely and social dog you are! Of course, we didn't need that little list to know how well behaved you can be around anyone, it's just in your nature. And as for that posh poodle, he needs to take a lesson from YOU!

Bertie, the perfect score...and why not indeed?!! Loving that last photo of you grinning!!! Am typing this from Lady Vicki's place near Ipswich - yes I arrived on UK turf yesterday and enjoying a foggy, damp, 'fresh' morning at the keyboard. Her ladyship has had the great good sense to curl up on the down bed by the fire... Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
