Home Sweet Home

Oh it is nice to be back in the familiar routine after a week of travel and disruption.

Of course I wouldn't for the world have missed meeting up with my dog blogging friends.

And I did get to go out and spend time with HGD, even if there are no pictures of us together this time.

I was rather upset when, no soon as we'd returned to Aberdeen, Gail immediately went gallivanting off to a wedding.

I don't understand it. Why would anyone want to get married in a romantic Scottish castle in a beautiful secluded glen if NO DOGS were allowed to attend?

Or at least that's what Gail told me and I believed her (about the NO DOGS thing) until I saw this photo.

And I'm not sure it helped when Gail said that I would probably (only probably!) have been quieter during the church service that a certain cute little two year old 'flower girl'...

  1. HEY - I see a DAWG at that wedding!!!!! How COULD Gail not take you. Personally..... I'm sure you would have been MUCH quieter than a two year old human pup!

  2. We're sure you'd have been quieter than a two-year-old....or at least no louder.

  3. The question is - would Bertie be expected to wear a kilt if he'd attended the wedding?

    1. Probably. As you can see, the bride's South Korean relatives did not escape...
      Cheers! Gail.

  4. LOL just chuckling at the idea of you in a kilt Bertie. Pity you could not go. Peoples can be very dog unfriendly at times but they missed a pawsome edition to the wedding party by not allowing you. Have a serene Sunday.
    Best wishes Molly

  5. We're glad that you spent time with your doggie blogging furends.

We bet HGD was so excited to have you come visit with him again. That's important to spend time with him.

Oh, the bride looks to beautiful! Butt we really wanna know, what do the men wear under their kilts? Are the rumors true?????

You would have made a great ringbearer. Maybe next time Bertie.

  6. Bertie we are glad youare home but it does look like you had such fun with your blogger friends. Mom also has to say that HGD is such a charming gent, she is rather fond of vintage in all its forms, from clothes to people who are er a bit vintage and your HGD looks like he would be so much fun to spend time with. The wedding also looks lovely/ We were not at our parents wedding either, phooey Most of us were not born and Tubby was a wedding gift, it was 12 years ago, moms friends though are having their shih tzu be there ring bearer this October. We think you would make teh cutest ring bearer ever. By the way thanks for your prey drive advice, we know that a WFT would probably not be good for us as we have cats, but you do look so cheery with other dogs even if you dont like cats. Interestingly our Bob is wild to chase cats outside but loves are house cats so its hard to tell. Mom does want something terrier like someday, perhaps a schnauzer as they are one of the mellower terrier breeds. Anyway sorry this was a novel

Welcome home Bertie - castles and dogs are made for each other, no doubt, but honestly - would you have wanted to be outshouted by a human pupple and that too a GIRLLLL?

Nah. You were better off guarding your own 'castle'! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
