Happy New Year from Ballochbuie Forest

Bertie and Gail wish all our friends a Happy New Year!

May your 2020 be full of beauty, peace and tranquillity, like an ancient Caledonian pinewood bathed in soft mid-winter sunshine.

(Not for us, the mayhem of the Edinburgh Hogmanay celebration!)

  6. Gail and Bertie your photos are breathtaking and your one sentence caption worth of Poet Laureate.
I worked with engineers, chemist and physicists for 25 years. One thing I learned quickly is about 90% of them had very artist minds.
    Either instrumental, artist, or poets.
We had professor in Physics who actually wrote poems with mathematics. Of course whey your name is Jasper Memory you have a head start.
You fall in the category with Professor Memory.
Hugs, Happy New Year to you two.
I laughed at your comment about Bertie's recall. Don't tell him but he might have some feline DNA

    1. Yes... seriously. Such a delightful man too. He was an emeritus by the time he fell under my as his assistant. At that time one of his 'things' was working on some books.

  10. Happy new year Gail and Bertie from Edie and the Westie Phoebe on the east Coast of Canada. We agree that the winter light in northern climes is perfect for pictures of dogs, especially in capturing the shadows of perky eared terriers. We hope 2020 has lots more such beautiful walks!
