Who needs scales?

I just want you to know that when I went for my annual booster shot and general check up earlier this week, nice vet Lyndsey felt my body all over and said to Gail: "No need for me to put this fine chap on the scales. I can tell his weight is just perfect".

My paws were given a clean bill of health too.

Treats please!

  4. Ooooh Bertie, you are a lucky boy !
I was given a clean bill of health too, by our vet! But 'cos I'm a Lab girl who has had babies, I tend to put on weight, so I've got to watch those calories !
Now I've got some arthritis in my shoulder and my paw, so am not even allowed walks at the moment.

    Love,

    1. Full marks for observation and memory skills YAM-Aunty! The entrance to the vets is through a different door, but that one does not have a sign saying 'vet' over it.

  8. Great news. Be careful with those paws. Remember that they are part of the reason you stay perfect in your weight etc.

  10. Bertie - What the vet really meant to say was that you are seriously underweight and require an urgent helping of ice cream and sausage !
