Hari OM ...talking of terriers sitting pretty, I have a certain young Jock Macdonald of the Jack Russel variety doing just that beside me right now! Yes, the neighbour is leaving him with me each day... I must ask her if she would ever think of taking him on a train trip! (D'ya think the rail peeps are suggesting they only want smaller dogs on their tracks???) hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh Bertie what fun to have some like souls on the train with you. Billy looks very interesting and interested in meeting you. Wonder if he'd like to tour a platform with you? MOLMOL Mom still shakes her head at the visual of Gail chasing you. Hugs madi your bfff
Oh wow Bertie, I have never been so lucky to meet a furfriend on the train....maybe its only cavaliers on East Midlands? Loves and licky kisses Princess Leah xxx
Well Princess, when in the Nottingham area we have travelled on East Midlands trains quite often, and do remember a conversation with a Staffie and his owner.
Terriers, or any kind of Dogs, are Not Allowed on rail here. We think this is dumb. The people who do not have cars do not have a way to take their Dogs places, because buses and taxis do not allow Dogs either. We think our city should be more like your city!
Wish we could ride the rails here in the states. That second picture of a Scot with his luggage is actually on a postage stamp. Thanks for being a friend Sweet William The Scot
First there was Hamish the Westie. Then there was Bouncing Bertie. Now we have new WFT puppy Nobby. Will he be Nice Nobby or Naughty Nobby? Watch this space!
wow only terriers? here only the german shepherds are allowed on trains... we have to find out why ;o)
ReplyDeleteWe are thinking that Alsatians might have special privileges because of border sensitivities?

DeleteWe wish transport here was as dog friendly! Have you seen any Doods?
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Can't remember ever spotting a Dood on a train, but for sure it's only a matter of time.
DeleteOMD you have the bestest adventures and meet such nice furends. You are one lucky guy.
ReplyDeleteDo you suppose they would ever let Dachshunds on the train?
The thing is, F+E, Dachshunds sometimes hide in their owner's luggage and you can't always spot them.
DeleteWe are sure it is only a matter of time before you spot a Scottie, Bertie!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Jakey, Rosy and Arty
Billy the Parson looks like a jolly little fellow. He makes you look very big, Bertie.
ReplyDeleteWe're impressed that the scottie is allowed to go on the train. Usually, we see scotties in a circle with a line through it!

Bertie - That must have been a very quiet Jack Russell.
