Ferryhill Christmas windows

At this time of year, many of the grey granite houses in our Aberdeen neighbourhood have a sparkly Christmas tree in the front window.

But only one window also has a Bertie.

Happy Christmas!

  7. And that window is the BEST!

Somehow Christmas decorations aren't the same when flowers are blooming and skies deep blue...no oasis from the grey.

  14. Bertie,
Grey granite? No, no, no, sparkly granite!! Yes, I agree lots of houses everywhere seem to put in some effort at Christmas time, it's great walking down the streets and peeping in at everybody's front rooms!
Hahaha, of course you're window is the best! You must have been quite confused when Gail went to take a picture of you from outside! Your tree is very festive too!

  16. Is that Hamish standing guard by the tree? Or a wee Bertie? Have a very warm and merry Christmas. Have lots of snuggles and try to snag as many treats as possible.

  26. Those sparklies can be a danger to humans. Much as I encourage momma to come to a full stop on after dark walkies prior to gawking, she persists in her illusion that she can walk and gawk at the same time. If not for soft, wet grass, and the odd snow drift (combined with her many layers of clothing) I fear she would be quite bruised.

I do love the Bertie in the window and will see if I can spot similar in our neighborhood.

    Kisses,
    Dexter
