OK, strictly speaking, this attractive Deeside village is called 'Aboyne', but we so much prefer the variant suggested a while back by our delightful bi-continental dachshund friend
Tootsie.
What fun I had there, anyway, bouncing around exploring on Sunday afternoon.
The day looks fantastic....the sort they always have on Midsomer Murders...BOL!
ReplyDeleteGreat place to go a-boyning, Bertie. Thanks for taking us.
XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy
Aboyng is definitely the place for you, Bertie! What's the 30 in the first photo? 30 kmh, 30 mph, or 30 bounces per minute?
ReplyDeletePuns are my thing because I'm so PUNy, I guess. And thanks so much for the dedicated "Tootsie" label!
It looks like a lovely village Bertie. I remember it being mentioned quite often as it seems to have pretty extreme temperatures. Last spring I believe that it went from the warmest place in the UK to the coldest in a couple of days with a huge temperature variance! I like the shot of Bertie on his hind legs sniffing something up high!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place Bertie. Hope you had a happy day exploring. Have a marvellous Monday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Looks like a great place to sniff around. Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place with such a wide variety of areas to romp around in. Bertie, you sure look like you had a lovely time.
ReplyDeleteWhew! I'm tired just looking at your pictures. What a grreat adventure!

ReplyDeleteBertie the tour dog!! Another wonderful trip you took us on little friend. Every shot tremendous - 'coz you were in them!!! Hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx
Hey handsome Bertie...that is a fine looking place to visit. Mom says she would have a time learning to pronounce some of those names but then she is known for making things harder than they should be.
ReplyDeleteBertie you have the best posture in the last picture
Hugs Madi your B FFF
You look like you were really enjoying your adventure. What a lovely spot Bertie!
ReplyDeleteBertie you could be an official tour guide
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
What a lovey place...did you get some confections at Strachan's?
ReplyDeleteWyatt and Stanzie
Bertie - There's not a person in sight. Lot's of cars but no people. Was it that cold ?
ReplyDeleteWhere is everyone Bertie?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a perfect day for bouncing around town. I am not much of a bouncer, but I respect your energy ...do you happen to have any to spare?
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
Aboyne looked rather nice that day Bertie! I'm glad you had a lovely time bouncing around there! Sometimes I say Aboing too, but am corrected by the owners!
ReplyDeletePippa :)
