Bedtime pillow fight

We were in Torridon again at the weekend. The weather was a bit 'West Coast' (of Scotland that is, meaning wet) so Gail and I only went for shortish walks this time.

But it's so boring isn't it, at night when your ancient human wants you to lie there quietly and "settle down Bertie", but you are still full of, er, bounce.

I can't think why Gail makes me sleep in the kitchen in Aberdeen.

  1. You show that pillow who is the boss! I am impressed with your biting and flailing skills you show there! The weather is stinky, but those pictures are beautiful!

  2. It is clearly a bad cushion that needed to be told who was boss. Good job! Lee and Phod

  3. That reminds us of Kendra. Every night after eating, she would attack our cushion to subdue it. She would be so proud of you.

  4. Don't see nothing wrong there, just pillow fluffing, no reason to be made to sleep elsewhere!

  7. You are a rowdy boy, Bertie and I hope you didn't put any holes in that nice pillow.

When does it warm up, or stop raining in Torridon?

    Cheers and hugs,

well for Heaven's sake Bertie-boy, what DID that pillow do to deserve such treatment? But I agree, Gail can't blame you with the walks were on the short! Those shots taken along the glen are soooo atmospheric. Sigh. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xx

    1. Note from Gail - I find it intriguing that the only time Bertie ever exhibits this sort of 'behaviour' is on my bed in the cottage at Torridon!

  14. Well I don't really have much bounce left in me but maybe I would rediscover my bounce if I visited such a beautiful place.

  15. Yep you got to get that pillow just right ~ then circle around about a dozen times ~ then stretch out and keep pushing your peep over till you get the center of the bed.
Glad you enjoyed our gymnastics on the down side of the hill.

  17. My, my Bertie! were you trying to destuff it or something? Did you manage? Destuffing things is the best fun, I really can't understand why humans don't think it's acceptable!
Torridon still looks lovely in the clouds because the scenery is very pretty. I'm not surprised there's still snow on some of the big mountains! Was it cold when you were there?

  18. Looks like you can't quite decide if the pillow is bedding that needs fluffing or a stuffy that needs de-stuffing. We are rising above the more ribald suggestions as being beneath you, mate. [Pun intended]
