I think you'll agree that my Sunday walk this week (round and about the village of Dinnet, on Deeside) had a little bit of everything.
An interesting place to sniff |
A chance to bounce along an old railway line |
A picturesque view of the River Dee |
A paw-refreshing paddle |
A scary suspension bridge |
A choice between mud and snow |
A pause to pose |
An ancient Celtic cross |
A loch and some hills |
A, er, stuffed mini cow |
A great walk, but I'm not sure about the cow. I have been warned about them as my predecessor (a wonderful old Golden Retriever) got too close to a full size cow and it licked him on the nose. He got the biggest fright ever which made my humans laugh!

And a beautiful sky! What a fantastic walk, Bertie, that's one you need to do some more! You were brave on that bridge, mate.

Great walk Bertie. We were torn between the snow and mud and settled on we'd roll in both. LOL! Love the little cow. Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Hugs Madi your BFFF
You certainly go on some wonderful walks, Bertie. Keep up the walking - you may keep Gail from her knitting. (if you really want to, that is) I loved the bicycle seat cover in the previous post...and I think it would be great to see a sweater on you too...but that's just me.
ReplyDeleteWinter's coming here soon, so I'll also be getting out my knitting needles.

You are sooooooo right... the Only thingy missing was a MONSTER in the Loch.
ReplyDeleteA fantastic walk, Bertie! We wish we could have joined you!

Had I been walking with you (saints be praised!) I would have purchased that mini cow for your garden. Wouldn't it be fun to see her among the flowers? Or up at your Lake place?
ReplyDeleteCheers, Bertie!

Grr and Woof,

We're glad to see that Gail devotes at least half the weekend to your entertainment. We still think you need a nice sidecar or really big basket for her bike, though, so you can increase your together time.
