It's turned frosty here on the streets of Nottingham and I am pleased today to bring you a top tip from Welsh terrier Thomas, demonstrating how to keep the paws warm whenever your human stops for a long and tedious chat.
Meanwhile, back at Janet's house, a most exciting Christmas present has newly materialised.
It is a matter of disagreement between Janet and me, as to whether this furry gift is a pair of faux Siberian lynx slippers intended for human paw warming or an, er, 'adult toy' for the pleasure of intact male terriers...

We think you should share the slippers. One for you, one for the humans
ReplyDeleteThomas the Welsh Terrier is handsome and smart...albeit no where near as handsome and smart as my favorite WFT!!
ReplyDeleteMOLMOLMOL those slippers gave us a serious case of giggles and OMCs a memory from way back in mom's Toto memory file.
Way back in the 1970's spaying and neutering was not very much talked about so Toto, too, was an intact male. AND OMCs mom has horrible memories of him trying to hump our wee 11 month old neighbor boy when he came to visit. I guess 'cause he was the closest to Toto's height. And it turns out Toto had a nose for diapers in need of attention...whether it be #1 or #2 he was the GUY. Very embarrassing for mom to say the least about the most

ReplyDeleteGracious Bertie lad... watch that Janet doesn't think you are over-reaching your welcome!!! As for Thomas, clearly he's a Welsh wizard! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
That's a brilliant tip, Bertie! I'll have to try that the next time Momma doesn't step quickly enough in the cold.
ReplyDeleteWe are all caught up on your Christmas festivities! It looks like you had a grand time with family and we want to hear more about those goose liver treats! ♥♥ Happy New Year, Wyatt and Tegan

ReplyDeleteWe had a summer storm here today and I did my best to try this with my papa... but he seemed more interested in trying to keep himself dry. Hmph. That snow looks fun though! Will you get snow there?
Lots of licks, your good friend Morrie!
Great tips for keeping your paws warm! Love the furry slippers too. My brother would definitely think they were a toy. Nose licks and love from Moth xx
