Greetings from the Winter Wonderland of Torridon.
We're still here and the local roads are still impassable. The Royal Mail van has apparently been stuck since Friday.
The mountain snowscape is stunning, but the ice is making my paws a wee bit sore. Maybe I should ask Santa for some boots?
I’ve got SNOW as well Bertie, proper snow, more than 87 flakes this time. I’m trying to eat it all, driving the peeps mad, which is funs
ReplyDeleteWhat’s not funs is you getting sore paws again! Take care dear Bertie, maybe a nice pair of Hunters wellies fur you? I wonder what colour you’d choose?
Loves and licky kisses

Thank you for your sympathy Leah. My paws are not properly sore like before, just a little bit tender on the ice. Red wellies I think would be good. Enjoy the snow!
Deleteoh I hope there is nothing inside that truck what could decay.... I would take a look into that truck... maybe there is food inside what's ice cream now :o)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. And being snowed in is a good excuse to miss the Tuesday meeting.
ReplyDeleteLovely photography. Wellies should match the all weather coat Bertie don't you think. Stay safe
ReplyDeleteHow about a red pair AND a blue pair then?
DeleteAbsolutely. Very stylish for a Stylish WFT. Stay warm and safe you two
DeleteWe think a nice traditional green pair would look marvy with your new sweater!
ReplyDeleteGosh, maybe a green, a blue and red pair then? After all, I have been a "good boy" (mostly) this year.
DeleteGood Grief.....Bertie that is a lot of snow and I bet the pieces are sharp and most uncomfie. Dad once fell on broken frozen snow and hurt his paw so we send sympathy. OMCs wonder where the driver of the Royal Mail truck went? It looks deserted in that area.
ReplyDeleteThat being said the vistas are gorgeous wow!!! I hope and purr the temps warm up soon so the roads are passable.
Hugs madi your bfff
Bertie, it all looks very beautiful. You look so smart in your warm blue coat, so a pair of red boots would just complete the ensemble to perfection !

ReplyDeleteA range of boot colours sounds like a plan - not to mention, bright!!! Deep and heavy frost here, but no snow yet. Off back to the hutch tomorrow. My heating broke down... in sympathy with the ROF and Jenn (Canada). Sigh... hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx
Oh wow it looks absolutely idyllic there but poor Postman Pat. Hope Jess the cat is okay?
ReplyDeleteThat does look so beautiful. Our Angel Greta wore boots when the temps got sub zero. She took too long potty BOL!

What beautimous snow you get Bertie. I'm not sure about the whole boot thing as I can't stand to even have Mama put my socks on! We hope things melt a bit soon!
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Arty
Crikey Bertie ..... thanks for remembering me!! That snow looks fantastic mate but your poor tootsies must be freezing. You sure do need boots. Tell Gail to buy you some Aussie ugg boots. They'd keep your poor old feet warm. Mum wanted to send you my Christmas card but she didn't have your email address so she'll do a special Christmas post for everyone she missed out on. You included, aye?? Don't freeze to death over there, will you. It sure look pretty. Wish we could have a white Christmas one year.
ReplyDeleteHi hi hi! Ojo here! It looks BEAUTIFUL! Good thing Santa has reindeer that can fly, it would be no good if he got stuck!
ReplyDeleteDo you know how to snow board? Or maybe a sled?
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
I think you have more ice and snow than the North Pole. Maybe those poor starving polar bears should come to Torridon.
ReplyDeleteHappy White Snow, well Bertie I am sure you are making it yellow.
Sweet William The Scot
Absolutely gorgeous. Enjoy all that beautiful snow in the gorgeous mountains!
