it can be a new beginning too... and if we had a popular vote about to stay or to go it would look like yours...
And it's very grey here too in Edinburgh. I'm flabbergasted.
I don't even know what that is, but I like the photo!
I was shocked by the result. Read all the articles on BBC and then came directly here, to see what Bertie thought. I am still in shock, and I currently reside in southeast USA.
Bertie, we are shocked, too. But hope that you are feeling much better otherwise.
A sad and shocking outcome. I've justbeen reading the blogs of some in theUK who seem not to have given any thought to their actions. They votedLeave on an impulse and some then feltregret afterwards. Too late now.
Bertie we over here across the pond were shell shocked too. Sending kitty kisses for your sweet nose and I'm glad you feel better from the tummy issuesHugs madi your bfff
We feel your shock. Let's hope someone actually has a plan.
Hari omBertie lad, let me say that here in Canada there are shockwaves a!so. Cannot print what I said to my hosts this morning... yours in mourning, YAM-aunty xxx
Bertie.... from the sounds of the NEWS Reports in this country YOU ARE NOT ALONE... Everyone seems Shell Shocked... except fur those who Voted to get out... There must have been a LOT of them...
We think maybe before people vote they should be checked for mental capacity? Your Pals Who Are Trying To Catch Up,Murphy & Stanley & The Laundry Queen
Certainly is interesting . . .
We feel it too. It is encouraging our crazy separatists . . . . sigh!
I think the whole world's a bit shell shocked at the moment Bertie!! At least the Scots knew what they were about, aye?? Is that why Gail left England!!
It seems the whole political world is going a bit topsy turvy lately and it may be time to put us pups in charge...
"Shock and Awe" here. Always thought y'all were quite a bit smarter than we are. Cue up the foreboding tunes on the organ please?
Bertie....we were shocked here too. Our hearts are with you.Diana, Addi and Oreo
Hi hi hi! Ojo here! We, over here in the big land of Canada, are also shocked! What happened? Does it feel any different?
You're still in, right? But your neighbours are out! What now??
I was so depressed by this I near,y cried and I'm an American
Bertie, I think we feel how are parents must have felt in September 1939, when WWII broke out. Kind of a disbelief and numbness. We're expats, so our future is even more uncertain than yours. If we have to come back to the UK, the tall man who feeds us, wants to make for a Scottish Isle somewhere (his forebears were/are all Scots) and sit out your Independence referendum and re-join Europe !How about that?Love from Petite-Chose (French) and Inca (Spanish) two devoted yellow Lab fans xx
You have no idea how many of my formerly strongly pro-unionist friends has said this week that they'd now vote yes to Scottish independence. But my fear is that the whole EU project has been fatally undermined so the 'Europe' that Scotland re-joined (even if such a thing were possible) would be very different from the one that the UK has so harmfully voted to leave. All the best, Gail.
Oops I meant our of course !
Bertie, my mom is scared. She thinks if the Brits can vote for this then the Americans might even elect (him.) She says she's moving to Canada. I know she won't because she doesn't like to be cold but still. A few years ago our state elected The Terminator. UGH,-Otto
Well....the Fantastically Athletic Terrier will start work right away...needs to lose a few pounds...as do the other resident terriers.
It's a week on, and we're still so sad about this result. Sending many licks, Bertie.xoTootsie
