This week, there's been a new and unwelcome development in our neighbourhood.
A motion sensitive security camera has been installed near the gate of one of the big houses we walk past on our early morning trip to the park. If you pass by when the gate is open - and it often is - you trigger a very bossy sounding recorded message. Gail finds this irritating and says anyone would think we were living in ______ (insert your favourite notorious high crime area). As for me, I just leave my response on the gate post and proceed onwards as per usual.

BOL, dat would be annoying. We have some people wif cameras and signs about their cameras here, but no recorded messages going off. YET.
ReplyDeleteBertie and Gail good grief...what a nuisance. I would think that would be disturbing to all who live close to the place. If we can hear it when you recorded it, it must be loud to all around. Bertie I love that NUTTIN' not even strange robo voices bother you morning constitution.

How vulgar. In France things like that are illegal. Brits seem less bothered by CCTV's - private or public.
ReplyDeleteWhy are they leaving the gate open if they feel they have security issues? Gate/Security Measures Warning/Cameras why all that is kind of superfluous. Does Gail wave and smile for the camera?
