Peak tail?

Here I am, standing in the sink, my sore paws having a soothing soak in warm water. There has been happening a lot just lately.

I don't know if you remember, but this winter, I am, in the cause of science, engaged in a 'no fur stripping experiment'.

It is scheduled to come to an end in a few weeks time.

Meanwhile, Gail believes I might have reached 'peak tail'.

What do you think?

PS Silly Gail, who has been a a bit distracted this week, got confused in my last post about the date of my next visit to the vet. We are in fact going this evening (Thursday). Meanwhile, my paws are a teeny bit better but far from properly better.

  2. At least you have a bath with a view Bertie, but I do hope that you don't see any squirrels whilst you're soaking your poorly paws. You'd need to ask Gail to open the window first before you gave chase !
Hoping there is good news and some more soothing medicine and creams from the vet.

  7. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Bertie may I make a request?
When stripping time comes.....I think it would be most handsome to leave a little fluff at the end of your signature WFT tail. It will look like a wee white flag flapping in the wind.

I'm so glad the soaking is making a wee difference and I hope your Vet is pleased.
    Hugs madi your bfff

  8. Mom hacks away at my tail all the time. She says it tends to look like a squirrel's tail. Stanley's tail doesn't go as crazy as mine. We think you have a wonderful tail!

  11. Bertie... your tail looks so... MANLY. We hope that Miss Gail doesn't decide to Strip IT.

Hey Buddy... Once your paw is FULLY Better... could you do a Scientific Insniffigation about SLEEP Pawsitions that are preferred?
Like I prefer to sleep on my Right Side more often and longer than on my Left side.
Ernie seems to prefer to sleep mostly on his Left side.
Butt we Do have One Problem... getting TO sleep. Our Mom loves to fall asleep HOLDING one of our PAWS... it is very distressing and keeps us from falling into Deep and RESTFUL sleep.
We are sending your Paw.. MORE of our POTP.
