Message from Alsace (updated with photos)

Finally, a properly formatted email from Gail...


Hi Bertie,

 Hope you've been having as good as time I've enjoyed in Alsace! OK, I admit that it has been cold here too. Just look at these photos I took a few days ago when we ventured over into the Black Forest in Germany.

 At least it was sunny in Colmar.

 And I think you would have enjoyed the food. 

 But of course the highlight of the trip was meeting Dixie from Sweden, by far the most splendid sight in the picturesque village of Eguisheim. 

 Perhaps you might reconsider your opposition to riding in a bicycle basket and join me on next year's Easter trip?

 Looking forward to seeing you very soon.

    It looks like you have missed a good trip but I'm sure you will still welcome Gail home with open paws and lots of tail wagging when she returns, especially if she brings you some of that food!

    That place looks amazing Gail! You must have worked very hard to bike all the way to Germany! I bet it was worth it in the end, that market looked brilliant and Dixie was very cute! You all look like Tour de France winners in your yellow jerseys! You should definitely persuade Bertie to hop in your basket next time!
