Hi Bertie,
Hope you've been having as good as time I've enjoyed in Alsace! OK, I admit that it has been cold here too. Just look at these photos I took a few days ago when we ventured over into the Black Forest in Germany.
At least it was sunny in Colmar.
And I think you would have enjoyed the food.
But of course the highlight of the trip was meeting Dixie from Sweden, by far the most splendid sight in the picturesque village of Eguisheim.
Perhaps you might reconsider your opposition to riding in a bicycle basket and join me on next year's Easter trip?
Looking forward to seeing you very soon.
Cheers,
Gail.
Bertie,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you have missed a good trip but I'm sure you will still welcome Gail home with open paws and lots of tail wagging when she returns, especially if she brings you some of that food!
Woofs,
Riley
Welcome back Gail and it looks like you had a great trip. Have a super Saturday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Oh Bertie - maybe you will head on off with her next year? Looks like a fun time. But coooooooold!
ReplyDeleteThat place looks amazing Gail! You must have worked very hard to bike all the way to Germany! I bet it was worth it in the end, that market looked brilliant and Dixie was very cute! You all look like Tour de France winners in your yellow jerseys! You should definitely persuade Bertie to hop in your basket next time!
ReplyDeletePippa :)
P.S. You are missing good weather over here - we've actually had sunny days every day this week! It's still a bit chilly though.
Just look at all that sausage! I'll go next year Bertie if you don't want to go. Yummy! How could you pass that up?
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lily Belle
Looks like Gail is having a good time. We hope you are having a good time too! Lee and Phod

Dixie's beautiful and what a find. Bet she made you a bit homesick.
ReplyDeleteLove the scenery.

Bertie,
ReplyDeleteYou might want to try out the bicycle basket next year. Looks like you are missing some grand adventures. You can always wear a disguise if you consider that mode of transportation not fitting for a chap such as yourself.
Kisses,
Dexter
How beautiful. Mom would love to visit there one day. Bertie where is your bike?

Howdy Bertie, we agree, get that basket out and start practicing your balancing mate. Mum says if you don't want to go next year, she will offer to sit in the basket hehehe. Hope Gail brings you home some treats. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
