This is not at all what I had in mind...

...when I said I wanted to go to the park this weekend.

But it turned out OK 'cos we ended up in Torridon, and had an awesome time.

  1. Bertie buddy boy do we wish we were there too.
Torridon is a gorgeous place. Look at those vistas and snow capped mountains and Sun! I hope your neck of the woods is warming up a tad. We have a very nice week coming up

  9. Bertie,

There is a very old song that Gail might remember with the lyrics "You can't always get what you want but if you try sometimes you might get what you need". We're guessing time in Torridon is exactly what you and Gail both needed and from your photos your time away from homelooked good to us!

    Love and woofs,
    Riley

  10. Bertie, your pictures are beautiful, but I must say, it looks extremely cold in Torridon. Was it? I LOVE the cold, but SHE is an old native Californian and whines when it's too cold.

    1. Otto, at around 35ºF it was a tad chilly, but for once there was little wind so it didn't feel too bad!
