If you are thinking that I am wearing a reproachful look in the photo above, then you would be correct.
You have probably spotted the HUGE ball of furs and guessed the reason for my discontent.
I was fond of those furs. Attached to them even.
So a certain person saw a single daffodil in bloom, decided winter was over, and set to work with the stripping knife.
We only had two inches of snow this afternoon…
And don't imagine for one minute that the Fair Isle jumper makes up for losing my very own precious wiry coat. I am so not going to smile for the camera.
Bertie - A haircut in March ? In Aberdeen ? I'd have waited until August.
ReplyDeleteStrippin are da worst. I feels your pain.
ReplyDeleteWe're with you Bertie! Can't believe you've had your gorgeous coat stripped already...it's just the beginning of March, not that Aberdeen is tropical at any time.

wow I think that's enough fur to knit a mini-bertie :o) the daffodils are there, that's true... but it's still winter... and the weather looks like that... sigh...
ReplyDeleteBertie this is simply unacceptable! Dang it looks like Gail went wild with the stripper thingie. I would be upset too. Just think of all those lovely aromas you had stored in your furs. Ages and ages of scents gone with the wind.
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your sympathetic bfff
Why can't people let us be in our natural state?
ReplyDeleteWhat - don't you know you have to see the green of grass before it can be spring fur stripping time - must explain why we get done once a week - our grass is green all year long :)
ReplyDeleteYou are looking mighty handsome, and you DO have a lovely Jumper

Hi hi hi! Ojo here! That is happening to me right now too! The people are taking gobs of my fur, and I tried to eat it on the floor but they wouldn't let me do that either! However, I must say your remaining coat looks very lovely!
