The upside of the new glass door to the Torridon cottage kitchen is that Gail can see when I want to come back inside into the warmth after my early morning 'comfort break'.
The downside is that she thinks it amusing to take a photo of me pawing at the door before letting me back in.
It's not even as if the picture is in focus...
I mean, I know I have a 'fuzzy face' but not THAT fuzzy!

ReplyDeleteBOL - so Gail hasn't mastered the 'sports' setting on the phone-cam yet, then, Bertie lad??!! But any photo of you is precious to our eyes. Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
... who let da dogs out was yesterday, today we sing who let the dogs in ;O)
ReplyDeleteOh, it's a shame that Gail didn't make that into a video, Bertie!
ReplyDeleteA gale force wind this morning, so my comfort break was very speedy. No time to sniff at all those inviting smells that had blown into the garden - I just wanted to get back into the warmth! Even the feral cats haven't appeared, and my human braved the elements to take their breakfast out for them.
Love,
Inca xx
Anything to get those pics for your blog, Bertie! I'm sure that Gail didn't make you wait long.
ReplyDeleteGlass doors are very convenient, including for photo ops and paw prints! We had a lovely beveled glass door in the Victorian flat we lived in in San Francisco. I was disappointed to see that it had been replaced with (of all things) plywood, when I later visited the city.
ReplyDeleteOh Bertie...we humans are easily entertained and often at the expense of our furries. One of the things I enjoyed most about fun at Madi's expense was putting stickers on the top of her head right in the middle. She would shake and shake trying to get it off.

you do look so cute pawing at the door, maybe you should try to look ANGRY and she will stop and let you in quickly. you know ACT like you are mad.. Beau said to tell you he never goes in the yard a lone, he will not stay out there, the moment the door opens he runs inside. one of us has to stand and watch and he keeps checking to see if we are there. also he said to tell you, he has never pooped while on a leash. no matter how bad he has to go, he waits until he gets home and someone goes with him into the back yard. this would make traveling impossible.
ReplyDeleteOur pawrents will do anything for a blog post, won't they, Bertie?
ReplyDeleteFuzzy or not, we love it, Bertie!!! Wait until your Gail discovers sees all the beautiful snart you can leave on that glass>) We are pros at that skill.

You need to lock the door when she is out and we will see if she thinks it is funny.
ReplyDeletePerhaps you need a new camera person Bertie! (We often think we do too. There are some terrible pictures of us out there!)
ReplyDeleteSome people have an odd sense of humor, don't they? By the way, that's a very nice new header photo, Bertie.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, Gail was tricking you! You must plan your revenge!
