Glorious sunshine and unheard of February warmth on the days when Gail was too busy at work to find time for a 'Nature Friday' photoshoot. The when finally she had a free afternoon, thick grey cloud had descended on Aberdeen, and the best we could manage was this picture of me posing in Tolohill Wood on the outskirts of the city, moss and ferns providing the only sign of greenery.
Absent anything else more interesting to report, I hacked into Gail's employer's 'intranet' and found some recent photos posted on a page titled 'The View from my Office Window'.
All the more frustrating then, that the workplace has a strict 'no dogs' rule...
From around the world, it is clear that some of Gail's colleagues get to enjoy more nature...

PS I am promised a very special adventure this coming weekend. Watch this space...

ReplyDeleteI commend you on putting together a fine post for nature day, despite restrictive circumstances Bertie lad. Only hope this weekend can live up to its promise!!! Hugs and wags YAM-aunty xxx
we love your nature a lot... and that place with the little pond is sure a place where fairies live, right?
ReplyDeleteThat was a shame, because the weather was really very beautiful! Hopefully the nice weather can come back for some more nice photo shoots out in nature.

What a beautiful posing spot for you, Bertie!
ReplyDeleteBertie at least you have some greenery to take a picture of. Everything around here is covered in snow! We love that picture of the leaping fox. That sure was a lucky snap.
ReplyDeleteMother Nature has been a buzz kill here too.
ReplyDeleteLovely sun and high temps for a 2 days (for which I'm thankful) now today high 44 dreary and damp and rain on the way.
Bertie thank you for the lovely pose there by the mossy rocks. You and your furs look quite handsome. I had no idea Gail worked out in the middle of a field...where the deer and the fox and badgers roam. LOL What gorgeous photos from around the world
Hugs Cecilia

We are hard pressed to find much fresh greenery here so we are delighted to view your post. Nice posing too, Bertie.

Personally, we think a wee break to look at the wildlife must improve productivity.
ReplyDeleteWe love the picture of you with all the mossy green.

The fox jumping happened outside lady's office this week. Looking forward to your adventures.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a lovely trail you were on. Very similar to the moss and fern covered places in Oregon. Our mom has a crush on red foxes right now and is always watching videos about foxes. If we don't behave, she might trade us in and get a fox...BOL! Wyatt and Tegan
ReplyDeleteLee says we will skip the view from Shanghai high building are not ever on her itinerary again. Feet on terra firma.
