Did I mention that it's rather muddy here now the snow is gone?
And to think Gail sometimes complains that I look a mess after my winter walks ...
Last Sunday I was on best behaviour and (mostly) stuck to the footpath during our walk from Doonie's Rare Breeds Farm to Cove Harbour and back.
But I still had to have my paws washed in the kitchen sink when we got home.
I mean technically the mud is snow... so we can let it be in our furs and with colder temperatures it becomes snow again and we can shake it off... no sink-torture needed ;O)
ReplyDeleteBOL, ya had nuffin on dem!

ReplyDeleteWell, yes, but Bertie lad, better that than pawtenshul for sore paws, right??? (Not to mention dirty cars, carpets and beds!) Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx
Those pals of yours need some grooming tips!
ReplyDeleteThat is the worst mud I've seen! Better clean paws than sore paws. Take care - nose licks and love from Moth xx
ReplyDeleteWe can't decide if the mud or snow is better . . . . .
ReplyDeleteOH MY word Bertie...tell Gail to be very thankful she doesn't have to carefully clean those critters hooves? Can you imagine. Yours are easy peasy for sure but that is still such a mess for any 2 or 4 legger to deal with. Not to mention those killer horns.
ReplyDeleteMom already wrote or picture poem for next week and 'heads up' it is about our first pet Toto the mighty mini dachshund
Hugs madi your bfff
The cattle is lucky....get muddy and stay muddy. No dunking for them! We like the one bedecked in hay.
ReplyDeleteThe sink is oksy for a paw clean. We don't want you itchy again.
We would love to wrestle in all that mud!!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
We are not a fan of mud and neither is mom

We always fancied those Scottish cows with the lovely long hair, but they don't look so good in the mud. I guess we won't get one now.
ReplyDeleteOh my! That is some FIRST CLASS MUD! I loves it! Though, the paw washin'...so unnecessary! ☺
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Ruby ♥
I totally understand your pain Bertie, paw baths sure can be inconvenient!

Arty
Why those cow are living in a pig sty ~ they had been clean their place up. We are expecting our first snow fall tomorrow. They say one inch but the city has put down the deicer stuff on the streets for one inch. And by the way the pork and stuffing looks delish.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend
