To whom do these feet belong?

Can you guess?

Ok, I won't keep you in suspense.

The feet belong to Blogville's very own YAM-Aunty and her lovely sister Mac#1 (or Mach#1 as I call her, as she is quite the speedy runner these days).

We met up last week in the charming town of Nairn, on the Moray Firth just east of Inverness, and spent a relaxing day exploring the beach and the wee park (where I gazed in admiration at YAM-Aunty's prowess on the fitness equipment).

Naturally we also sampled the local cafés, and finally we had a nose around the old 'Fishertown', where we happened upon this wonderful mural, an unexpected source of distraction and delight.

All in all, it was a splendid day.

Isn't it nice to have friends?

Bertie lad, it was a GRAND day... though I must correct the naming; that was MAC1 with me (I don't count myself in the numbering y'see). There will be more and fuller sharing of our day together in upcoming posts over at the MENO Wild YAM bloggy from next Thursday... (I got stuck in Edin - long story)... I was just glad to see you had your full bounce back on those pawsies!!! Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

  7. Bertie, what fun you had, you lucky boy. My Dad-peep has a cousin who lives in Nairn, and takes their German Shepherd for walks along the beach every day ! He's sent us photos from time to time.
Love the mosaic, it's very clever.

  12. Meeting up with a nice person, what a wonderful way to spend the day. Love the murals, Lee loves anything artsy. Trump's visit to Nati was a fizzle. More police and secret service than citizens. At the marina people turned down tickets. Very small small group of people.
