Mis-selling scandal and home comforts

So Gail and I are still down in Nottingham, staying with our friend Janet.

As I've mentioned before, dogs in Nottingham are charged 50p on the buses, and we even get our very own ticket.

Did you look closely at the picture?

Now correct me if I am wrong, but surely this ticket implies that bones will be freely available to all dogs who travel on Trent-Barton buses?

Well I searched the bus high and low and located nothing more exciting than a discarded sweet wrapper.

To whom should I complain?

Oh and another thing.

I am pleased to report that in Janet's house, I've found a very comfortable chair.

And I think it was most generous of me, having gone to some effort to optimise my position in the seat, to shift myself again when Janet came in and indicated that she wanted to occupy what she apparently thinks of as 'her' chair...

(Gail says my concept of generosity is 'interesting'.)

Hmmmm I think you need to get Gail onto the compawter locating the customer service department of said bus company... very neat napping activity there - practicing for the pawlympics??? I cannot help but notice a bandage upon your leggy, dear boy; did the V.E.T. leave his/her mark? Hugs and wags, YAM-aunty xxx

    1. Thank you YAM-Aunty - the bandage (actually a baby sock fixed in place with electrical tape) is to stop me licking this cyst thingy that is still bothering me a bit.

  5. Bertie...I 100% agree. Supposedly a picture is worth a 1,000 words. That picture of the ticket clearly shows a bone!! Maybe your complaint can right this wrong!!

Mom is wondering if she can 'steal' that darling photo to use in my Sunpuddle napping event?

  7. That DEFINITELY says a bone will be available. Maybe it's a BYOB -- bring your own bone?

  8. Oh my god that ticket is the cutest thing ever, I need to move to Scotland now. I get a dirty look from many drivers and conductors even when tiny Tuvok goes on the bus or train AND hes in a bag. Also I agree you where promised a bone

  9. We think you have a point about the bone. Maybe this is something Ernie the Attorney could help with?

  14. Bertie, it looks to me as if you'd found that chair first. (Wonderful picture!) Very gracious of you to share it with Janet.

  17. No bones about it, I think you should complain about the lack of bones on the bus! Enjoy your visit with Janet.

  18. Bertie - You seem to have learnt how to maximize your comfort.

  19. Perhaps they had so many doggies on the bus that they had run out of bones? You were most gracious to make room for Janet - even if it is really her chair.
